পরিণীতা শরৎচন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায় রচিত বাংলা উপন্যাস। বইটি ১৯১৪ সালে প্রকাশিত হয়। বিংশ শতাব্দীর প্রথম সময়ের ভারতের কলকাতার পটভূমিতে উপন্যাসটি রচিত হয়। পরিণীতা মূলত একটি নিরন্তর প্রেম কাহিনী। এক ১৩ বছর বয়সী মেয়ে ললিতা এবং ২৪ বছর বয়সী যুবক শেখর এই উপন্যাসের কেন্দ্রীয় চরিত্র। শেখর ও ললিতা ছোটবেলা থেকে একসাথে বড় হয় এবং একসময় তারা প্রেমের সম্পর্কে জড়িয়ে পরে। কিন্তু শেখর ছিল এক আত্মম্ভরি,অহংবাদী, উচ্চাকাঙ্ক্ষী বাবার সন্তান। শেখরের বাবা এ সম্পর্ক গ্রহণ করেনা, অন্যদিকে গিরিনের আগমন ঘটে ললিতার জীবনে। শেখর আর ললিতার সম্পর্কের টানাপোড়ন শুরু হয়। ললিতা নিঃশর্তভাবে অপেক্ষা করে শেখরের কিন্তু শেখর তার পিতার মৃত্যুর পর ললিতা কে স্বীকার করতে পারে। উপন্যাসটির প্রতিটি চরিত্র, আবেগ খুব সুন্দরভাবে উঠে এসেছে।

Century. He was born on September 15, 1876 at Debanandapur village in
the Hooghly district. He was the second child of his parents. His
father’s name was Matilal Chattopadhyay and mother’s name was
Bhubanmohini. Sarat grew up in his maternal grandparents’ home at
Bhagalpur. His childhood was spent in dire poverty because his father
was an idler and paid little attention to sustain his five children. The

1938. His best novels are Palli Samaj (1916), Charitraheen (1917),
Devdas
(1917), Nishkriti (1917), Srikanta in four parts (1917, 1918, 1927 and
1933), Griha Daha (1920), Sesh Prasna (1929), Sesher Parichay
published posthumously (1939), Pather Dabi, Biraj Bou, Nishkriti, Ovagir
Swargo, Grihadaha, Chandranath, Datta,Naba Bidhan, Pondit Moshai etc.
