Humayun Ahmed is one of the most popular Bengali writer in 20th Century. He was Author, Dramatist, Science fiction writer and Film Maker of Bangladesh. He was born in Mohongonj, Netrokona, Bangladesh on 13th November 1948 and Dead on 19 July 2012 in New York. He is called the cultural legend and pioneer of science fiction author of Bangladesh. His father is Faizur Rahman Ahmed a police officer and freedom fighter who was killed during the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971 by Pakistani Army and his mother is Ayesha Foyez. Humayun Ahmed earned fame for his first novel Nondito Noroke in 1972 which is one of the most popular of Humayun Ahmed. He wrote more than 200 books of fiction and non fiction from which most of the books are best sellers in Bangladesh. Some of his books are translated in different languages and some stories, novels are included in text books of school, college and universities. His novels and dramas are so much popular. He is popular for his dialogue based writings in novels, dramas, films. Humanyun Ahmed directed some drama and movies which was most popular in Bangladesh and India. He also wrote few number of songs for his drama and movies which was also popular. He was professor of chemistry in University of Dhaka. But he leaved his profession and was busy for writings and making drama and movies. Humayun Ahmed Married Gultekin in 1973 and have three daughters. Humayun ahmed fell in love with TV actress Meher Afroze Shaon. Then he divorced Gultekin (fist wife) and Married Shaon in 2005 & have two sons. His popular Dramas are Ei Shob Din Ratri, Bohubrihi, Aj Robibar, Auyomoy, Keokothai nai etc. His popular movies are Aguner Parash Moni, Srabon Megher Din, Dui Duari, Amar ase Jol, Ghetu Putro, Komola, Nondito Noroke, Dharuchin Dip etc.
